Baptist Foundation of Texas (the Foundation) is a nonprofit organization created in 1930 for the purposes of managing the endowment assets of Baptist institutions and receiving gifts for these institutions. The Foundation also provides consultation to Baptist institutions as they work with their donors in planning gifts. The Foundation owns no assets of its own and does not raise funds for its own benefit, serving all Baptist institutions equally. The Foundation makes no grants, as the assets managed belong to or for the benefit of client institutions. Rather, we serve as a technical resource to institutions and to donors considering making gifts to Baptist causes.
