2. Can individuals invest in Baptist Foundation of Texas (the Foundation) funds?
No, but individuals may choose to utilize one of several gift vehicles to benefit Baptist causes. the Foundation invests endowments, operational reserves, trusts, and other assets for Baptist institutions and organizations only.
3. Do you have mutual funds?
No. The Foundation invests with individual third party investment managers that, in turn, invest in individual securities under specific, contractual investment guidelines.
4. Who should I talk with about preparing my will? Will you prepare my will?
The Foundation does not draft wills. Baptist institutions are the Foundation's clients. It would be a conflict of interest for our attorneys to draft a will under which a Baptist institution would benefit.
The Foundation will provide testamentary gift language for use by a donor's attorney to accomplish charitable goals.
The Foundation will provide attorney referrals for wills and estate planning proposals, upon request.
