Baptist Foundation of Texas (the Foundation) will facilitate the receipt and liquidation of financial assets for the benefit of Baptist institutions and donors. Financial assets are defined as marketable securities such as stocks, bonds and/or mutual funds that may be easily liquidated on a secondary market such as the New York Stock Exchange and/or other similar exchanges or markets.
The Foundation will liquidate the security through a qualified brokerage firm and will then transfer the proceeds according to the direction of the institution or donor.
