Trust Services
BFT offers a full complement of services related to charitable trust development and administration. Our staff works closely with development officers and other client institution representatives, who work on behalf of their institutional Baptist causes, to meet the needs of the donors and to serve effectively as a technical resource. Our staff also works directly with donors to Baptist ministries and with their legal and financial advisors to accomplish their goals.
Trust Services include:
- Charitable planned-giving and tax consultation
- Provide technical assistance
- Discuss tax consequences with donor, development officers and donor's advisors
- Integrate charitable giving into donor's overall estate plans
- Prepare proposal outlining suggested trust/gift arrangements
- Coordinate asset transfer and development of investment strategy
- Trust administration
- Research and development
- Monitoring legislation affecting the charitable community
